Mooshak, (or Mushak), is the companion and vahana (vehicle) of the Hindu god Ganesh. He was said to have been a god himself but was turned into a rat. Mooshak represents the ego, slowly chipping away at the psyche.
This miniature taper holder represents the ego as well and, depending on your candle color of choice, has the ability to stabilize the facets of the ego to provide alternative perspective.
This vintage taper holder has a small opening in the top for a taper candle. The opening can accommodate 10mm candles. This piece is perfect for a small home altar, shrine or travel altar. It is made up of marble, brass and a little mouse skull. Inside, where the taper sits, are chips of carnelian, representing a bold energy to tame the ego.
