For the esteemed sea witch, this honors the ebb and flow and the depths of the ocean. Only within our darkness can we make out the light...
The ridges of this substantial vintage glass piece reminded me so much of bioluminescent jellyfish called Ctenophora or "Comb Jellies" which radiate a pulsing light along the outside of their bodies. Jellies are often associated with a laid back "flow" and its simplicity in its survival. Relax into your power, wherever the current takes you.
Needless to say, I had to make this piece glow. It is adorned with a Vetigastropoda shell (a sea snail with ancient lineage) and painted black on the inside to keep all of it's treasures or offerings discreet. Hold up to a bright light to charge the glow.
This was such a pleasure to create!
